RUDY PACHEO AYALA

Rudy Pacheco Ayala, 89, of Littlefield, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 in Levelland. He was born Dec. 8, 1932 in San Antonio, TX to Manuel Ayala and Jospehine Pacheco Garcia.

Rudy moved from San Antonio to Littlefield around 1950 when he was traveling to Utah and stopped in Littlefield and found work at Littlefield Frozen Food. He worked there for over 25 years, and later he went to work at Security State Bank and First Federal Bank. He married Olivia Sanchez April 6, 1966 in Littlefield. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, drag racing, dancing, playing golf and music. He was a Catholic and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Littlefield, where he was a Cursillista. He also served in the US Army and was a Boy Scout Troop Leader.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Monday, May 2, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Littlefield with Father Angelo Consemino officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Rocke Ayala, Isaac Ayala, Jason Ayala, Dustin Ayala, Aaron Ayala and Ethan Ayala, and honorary pallbearers will be Joel Ayala, Bryan Ayala, Jacob Ayala and Kenneth Lemer. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m., Sunday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
