Melodi Grace (Stephens) Tate, 62, of Spade passed away Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025 in Littlefield, TX. She was born April 3, 1963 in Lubbock, TX to Reginal and Doris (Grace) Stephens.
Melodi grew up attending the First Baptist Church where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and was baptized there. Melodi later married Terry Tate on Oct. 25, 1980 in that same Baptist Church she grew up in. She later attended the Methodist Church in Littlefield. Melodi and Terry made their home in Spade, TX. Melodi was a hard worker, working with her parents and her brother at Zanes Specialty Building Products and she was also a licensed nursing aide. She also sold Avon.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter and her husband; one grandchild; a sister and her husband; a brother and his wife; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.. Memorial Services to honor the life Melodi lived was held Saturday afternoon, Sept. 6, 2025 at Spade Methodist Church in Spade with Pastor Christopher Fletcher officiating.
Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
