Mary Tisdale, 85, of Littlefield, TX, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. She was born on Oct. 10, 1939, in Normangee, TX to Benomi John and Eva Estelle Waters. She married Johnny Tisdale on Dec. 14, 1958, in Anton, TX.
Mary loved to paint, sew and work in her garden. She also enjoyed taking photography classes. She had a servant’s heart which led her to be a caregiver for the elderly for several years. She was an excellent cook. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Littlefield and helped with VBS for years.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband; three sons; a sister; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and one sister.
Celebration of Life Services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Littlefield, with Linvell Tisdale and Kenny Rucker officiating. Interment followed in Littlefield Memorial Park.
Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, TX.
