In Loving Memory Of Saundra Watts

Saundra Watts, 81, of Lubbock, formerly of Littlefield, passed away Monday, February 28, 2022 in Lubbock. She was born November 27, 1940 in Littlefield to Earnest Connell and Thelma (Zoth) Connell.

Saundra married Gene Watts in Lubbock, in 1990. She worked for several years at States Savings and Loan as a secretary and then later at St. Mary's Hospital, now known as Covenant Medical Center, as an administrative assistant. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, scrapbooking and watching soap operas, especially Days of Our Lives. She was a dog lover and spoiled her four-legged children rotten. Most of all, she loved being a mom and a "Nana' to her grandchtldren. She was a hard worker who was devoted to her family, and always made sure she provided for her sons. Saundra was a loving and kind woman, and strong in her Christian faith.

She is survived by her two sons, Steven Marsh and wife, Rita of Livingston, Texas and Darren Marsh and wife, Daneen of Midland; step son, Clay Watts and wife, Jamie ofNew Braunfels,.Texas; three step daughters, Lisa Muller of Littlefield, Stacte Atkms and husband Phil of Seminole and Karen Jackson and husband, Gary of Semi~ole; seven grandchildren, Katie Daniel ofLivingston, Texas, Tiffany Johnson of Portland, Oregon, Priscilla Street of Tomball, Texas, Niki Marsh of Livingston, Texas, Shelby Elenburg of Midland, Texas, Abby Gai I Marsh ofMidland, Texas and Halley Marsh of San Angelo, Texas; nine great grandchildren; and one greatgreat grandchild; a brother, Jerry Connell of Lubbock; and numerous other extended family members.

Waiting for her in Heaven was her husband Gene Watts, who passed away September 5, 2020, and her parents.

Celebration ofLife Services will be at I 0:00a.m., Fnday, March 4, 2022 in Grace Chapel in Littlefield. Interment will follow in Littlefi.eld Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday evenmg from 6:00 to 7:00p.m., at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
