Jim Bone passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 in Littlefield, Texas at the age of 82. Born and raised in Missouri, he spent the majority of his life as a proud Texan and 45-year resident of Littlefield.

Jim led a full, fulfilling and joyful life. He held a BA in Political Science from the University of Missouri and a Masters in Hospital Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio. At various times he worked as US congressional staffer; a fighter pilot and flight instructor in the USAF where he was a Captain; a florist; a public servant; and a hospital and clinical administrator for over 30 years with American Medical International, the Littlefield Clinic, the Lamb County Healthcare Center and Covenant Hospital System in the local area.

He was a beloved husband of 56 years, the greatest father one could hope for, a ridiculously proud grandfather, a great friend to many, and a tremendously talented businessman.

He is survived by family both near and far as well as too many colleagues and good friends to list, spread all over the country and from all walks of life. He will be sorely missed but fondly remembered by all of us whose lives he touched.

Funeral arrangements are being handled through Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, Texas and a private family graveside will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to https://www.diabetes.org/ or the https://www.apdaparkinson.org/ in Jim's honor.
