Faye Lavelle Miller, 96, of Earth, Texas passed away on September 13, 2026, in San Angelo, Texas. Faye was bom on February 26,1930, in Rotan, Texas to Taylor Gregory and Minnie Gregory McKinney.
Faye graduated high school in Rotan and went on to attend Draughon’s Business College in Lubbock where she met her husband of 68 years, Harold Miller. Faye and Harold married on September 15,1948. Faye was a loving homemaker and stayat- home mom to their two daughters, Janice and Beverly. She was a talented seamstress and operated a business out of her home making custom crib bedding. Faye was an avid crafter with many hobbies including scrapbooking, jewelry making, cross stitch, embroidery, crochet, and knitting. You could always expect a handmade card in the mail from her to mark any special occasion. Faye excelled at cooking and baking with the smell of homemade goodies always filling her home. She was known for her incredible pecan pies and loved to treat her husband with his favorite dish, chicken fried steak with gravy and mashed potatoes.
Faye was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and attended the Earth Church of Christ for over 70 years. You could find her eveiy Sunday before church sitting on the back pew chatting with her friends.
Preceding Faye in death are her husband, Harold Miller; daughter, Beverly Jones; parents, Taylor Gregory and Minnie Gregor}-' McKinney; brothers, Raymond Gregory and Hubert Gregory; and sisters, Irene Gregory and Venita Trevino.
Surviving family are her daughter, Janice Burks of San Angelo, Texas; son-m-law, Bill Jones (Phyllis) of Bedford, Texas; brother, Don Gregory of Amarillo, Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer Cass (Chad) of Grand Prairie, Texas, Micah Jones of Carrollton, Texas, Paige Morrone (Steven) of San Angelo, Texas, and Liana Eccles of Nampa, Idaho; greatgrandchildren, Landry Cass-Moad (Eli) of Venus, Texas, Cooper Cass of Lubbock, Texas, and Kaylea Eccles of Nampa, Idaho; and great great-grandson, Harry Morrone of San Angelo, Texas.
Funeral service were held at the Church of Christ in Earth, Texas on Friday morning, September 18, 2026, with Terry Wilson officiating. Interment followed in Earth Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Bill Jones, Micah Jones, Steven Morrone, Eli Moad, Chad Cass, and Taegan Everett.
