Donald (Donny) D. Davis, 66, entered into eternal rest at his home in Anton, TX on May 21, 2021.
Donny was born June 28, 1954 in Lubbock, TX to Jan Jezisek and Mack Davis. He is survived by his wife, Dianna Davis and two daughters, Shanna (Sister) of San Antonio, TX and Shelly (Stinky) of West Haven, CT. Donny is also survived by his step-mother, Peggy Davis; step-sisters, Dianne Sea and Debra Alanis and families of Anton, TX. Additionally, he is survived by several family members and friends.
Donny was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Annette Wolf; and brothers, Deryl Davis and Larry Downs.
Donny spent a good part of his life driving an 18-wheeler and farming. He enjoyed spending time with his dad, drinking coffee and learning how to trade horses for pickups and vans or any other thing he thought worthwhile.
Donny was a straight shooter and told it like it was. He was a no nonsense type of man when it came to getting things done. Although seemingly serious, he also had a great sense of humor and a multitude of stories to share from his time out on the open road.
Donny’s wishes were to be cremated with no memorial services.
