Dominga Martinez Estrada, 73, of Littlefield went to join her husband in Heaven, Thursday, July 14, 2022. She was born January 6, 1949 in the little community of Bainer Switch, Texas to Trinidad and Carmelita (Guzman) Martinez.
She married Albert Estrada March 9, 1968. She was a kind and forgiving woman, and told the best stories. She enjoyed dancing, loved music and was an excellent cook. Dominga loved her family, especially her grandbabies and she always made a point to keep in touch with everyone, by calling just to say hello. She stayed true to her catholic beliefs until the very end.
She is survived by three sons, Anthony Estrada and wife, Leann of Lubbock, Jeffery Estrada of Amarillo and Daniel Estrada and wife, Janie of Spring, Texas; two daughters, Kathy Estrada and Crystal Estrada, both of Littlefield; eighteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Juan Martinez of Shallowater; seven sisters, Lucia Coronado of Littlefield, Francis Silvas of Shallowater, Eugenia Estrada of Amherst, Susan Martinez, Gregoria Balderas, Cruzelena Martinez all of Littlefield and Antonia Lopez of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert on June 17, 2022; her parents; a grandchild; a great grandchild; a brother, Santos Martinez; and five sisters, Angelica Hernandez, Maria Silvas, Lupe Silvas, Abelina Lovato, and Margaret Saenz.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Littlefield with Father Angelo Consemino officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Gerado Estrada, Jordan Estrada, Alex Sierra, Julian Estrada, Dylan Estrada, Caleb Estrada and Lucas Estrada.
Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
