Danny Adam was born Feb. 12, 1984 to Danny and Lupe Marquez in Littlefield, TX and gained his wings on Friday, May 21, 2021. He attended Littlefield High School, served as Senior Class President, and after graduation in 2002, he continued his education at Texas Tech University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. He worked for Hugo Reed and Associates and loved his career and was a talented drafter. Danny Adam looked intimidating but was a big teddy bear. He had a humble and giving heart and would help anyone he could, especially at his church, his friends and his family. He made it a point to never hold a grudge, and loved big, especially his children. He was the kind of dad who let his girls, Mallory and Melany paint his toenails while they jammed out to music and taught his son, JD how to cook on the grill. He liked to watch cartoons while eating a bowl of cereal, and loved to dance, especially to cumbias. Danny Adam always knew how to break the silence and was the jokester of the family. He loved to make people laugh and he was good at it. He cherished his family and their traditions, like his Grandma Josie’s tamales and his mom’s beautifully decorated Christmas trees. Birthdays were special to Danny Adam, because he shared his birthday with his mom, and he always called his sisters on theirs to wish them a “Happy Birthday” in his Frosty the Snowman voice. He proudly wore #76 when he played Varsity ball, and he still supported LHS. He was also a lifetime Marching Cat and would still follow the band closely and critique them on their marching skills, like who was out of step or behind. He was a proud Tech Alumni, and a member of the Red Raider Club. Danny Adam is a Catholic and a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
