Laveda Glass, 71, of Anton, TX passed away Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024. She was born March 16, 1953, in Amherst, TX to Robert and Annie Burns.
Laveda enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls. She liked taking road trips to look for antiques. She loved Elvis Presley and watching I Love Lucy and westerns. She enjoyed helping others, so being a nurse was not only a career for her, but it was also a passion.
Laveda is survived by her son; her daughter; her life partner; grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Anton, TX with Pastor Herb Roever officiating. Interment will follow in Anton Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday evening, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Service arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in
