Kim McElroy, 55, of Lubbock, formerly of Littlefield, passed away Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022 in Lubbock. She was born Dec. 30, 1966 in Littlefield to Floyd “Cotton” McElroy and Janice McElroy.
Kim graduated from Littlefield High School her Junior year, with the class of 1984, and she was a twirler in the band. She went to Barber College and was a barber at the Upper Room in Lubbock and later at Homer’s Barber Shop in Littlefield. She was a devoted fur mom to her four legged children. She enjoyed fishing, traveling and riding motorcycles. Kim was an avid Texas Tech and Dallas Cowboys fan. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 28, 2022 at Littlefield Memorial Park with Jim Harris officiating. The family has requested for those in attendance to maintain social distancing guidelines. Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
