Joe Carrasco, 49, of Olton, died Tuesday, July 27, 2021, in Plainview, TX. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Northwest Church of Christ in Plainview. Interment followed at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Born Oct. 4, 1971, in Dallas, TX, to Juan and Gina Carrasco, Joe was lovingly raised by his grandparents, Jose and Estella Carrasco. He graduated from Olton High School in 1990. Joe was a faithful supporter of the Olton Mustangs, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Joe was an evangelist for 14 years and changed many lives while
Joe was an evangelist for 14 years and changed many lives while serving in Kermit, TX, for three years before moving back to Olton in 2014. For the last seven years, Joe served at Main Street Church of Christ in Olton and at Northwest Church of Christ in Plainview. Joe was a member of the Lord’s Church and was passionate about doing the work of the Kingdom.
