Jo Ann Stamps, 74, of Olton, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021, in Plainview, TX. Memorial services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021, at the First Baptist Church in Olton with Brother David Azam officiating and under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Jo Ann was born July 22, 1947, in Brownfield, TX, to James and Lorene (Yoakum) Thomas. She moved to Olton in 1975. Jo Ann worked at the Pizza Parlor in Olton for over 12 years and then at the Sandhills Village Assisted Living Center for over 15 years. Jo Ann enjoyed watching Gunsmoke, coloring in adult coloring books and watching Red Raider sports.
The family suggests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
