Frankie J. Lunsford, 85 of Lubbock, TX and formally of Muleshoe, TX, died Wednesday Dec. 4, 2024, in Lubbock. She was born March 2, 1939, in Littlefield, TX to Basel E. Turner and Areda L. Witcher. She married Robert Lunsford Sept. 29, 1961, in Littlefield, TX.
Frankie worked at Dillaman Elementary School for 26 years. Frankie and Robert loved to travel together and visit relatives.
She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son; a daughter; and a granddaughter.
Frankie is survived by two daughters, three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024, at Hillcrest Funeral Home’s Grace Chapel in Littlefield. Interment immediately followed in Littlefield Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials be sent to Lubbock Meals on Wheels (2304 34th St, Lubbock, TX 79411). Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, Texas.
