In Loving Memory Of

June 25, 1961 ~ Feb. 7, 2024

Ernesto "Ernie" Torres Gonzales, 62, of Littlefield formally from Morton, TX, passed away on February 7, 2024 in Littlefield. He was born on June 25, 1961 in Levelland, TX to Thomas Gonzales and Sara Torres.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Morton Memorial Cemetery in Morton with Brother Rush Coffman officiating. Interment will follow under the care of Head Duarte Funeral Home and Staff of Levelland. Visitations and Reflections of Life will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday, February 12, 2024 from 8:00 a.m.. until 11:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Morton, TX.

Ernesto T. "Ernie" Gonzales, graduated from Morton High School. He was blessed with one son, Ernie Gonzales Jr. Ernie Sr. worked as an entrepreneur as a mechanic, car wash and gas station in Morton for several years. Also worked as a landscaper in Littlefield. His hobbies were barbequing, playing the drums, repairing lawnmowers, vehicles a regular Handy-Man, watching sports on television Texas Tech University football team, NFL Dallas Cowboys and The Kansas City Chiefs with his favorite football player Patrick Mahomes. Ernie's memory shall be cherished by his family and friends.

He was proceeded in death by his parents: Thomas Gonzales and Sara Torres; and two sisters.

Ernesto is survived by his son, Ernie Eric Gonzales Jr. of Littlefield; grandsons, Damion Diego Gonzales and Daniel Lee Gonzales both of Littlefield; brothers, Thomas Gonzales of Odessa, Albert Gonzales and Freddie Gonzales both of Morton; and a sister, Olivia Orozco of Levelland.

Pallbearerswill be Freddie Gonzales Jr., Geronimo Viernes, Rocky Orozco, Ernie Eric Gonzales Jr., Damion Diego Gonzales, and Daniel Lee Gonzales.
