ELAINE CASTILLO

Elaine Castillo, 68, of Littlefield passed away May 3, 2022 in Lubbock. She was born Oct. 30, 1953 in Amherst to Benicio Vargas and Isabel Garza Vargas.

Elaine worked as a Teachers Assistant for Littlefield ISD for over 40 years. She was dedicated to her students and loved her “kids” at school and her work family. She was an avid reader and liked to travel. Elaine was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Celebration of Life Services were at 6 p.m., Friday May 6, 2022 at Grace Chapel in Littlefield. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made in Elaine’s honor to Littlefield ISD, (1207 E. 14 th , Littlefield TX 79339 c/o Elaine Castillo Memorial Fund). Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
