Betty Ann Fouts

Betty Ann Fouts, 94, of Littlefield passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022 in Lubbock. She was born April 14, 1928 in Paris, Illinois to Dren Warren Carrell and Freddia (Wells) Carrell.

Betty graduated from high school in Tuscola, Illinois and then went on to further her education at State Teachers College in Charleston, Illinois. She married A.T. Fouts July 1, 1950. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing and oil painting. Betty also took great pride in her beautiful yard. Betty was a loving, giving woman, and a great listener. She was a faithful Christian and devoted prayer warrior.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Randy Fouts and wife, Donna of San Antonio and Darrell Fouts and wife, Ginny of Shreveport, LA; and a daughter, Patti Alburtis and husband, Rocky of Lubbock; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren and one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a brother, Jack Carrell; and a grandson, Jody Alburtis.

Graveside Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Littlefield Memorial Park. Memorial services will follow at 11 a.m., Saturday at First Baptist Church in Littlefield with Pastor Tanner Wilson officiating. Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Lamb County Library, 110 E. 6th Street, Littlefield, Texas 79339.
