Alfredo Gallegos Fonseca, 91, of Olton, passed away Monday, Oct. 13, 2025, in Olton. Rosary was said Wednesday evening, Oct. 15, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Olton. Mass was celebrated Thursday afternoon, Oct.16, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Father Alex Ambrose officiating. Interment followed at Olton Cemetery under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Alfredo was born Oct. 14, 1933, in Runge, TX, to Francisco and Maximina (Gallegos) Fonseca. He worked as a farmer and later for Xcel Energy for 21 years. In 1954, he married Eloisa “Molly” Salas in Runge. Alfredo was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Olton. He enjoyed playing Bingo and enjoyed watching friends and family play poker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter; three brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife; his son; a brother; four sisters; and three grandchildren.
