LHC ‘Team Builders’ to host 11th Annual ‘Safe Halloween’

Lamb Healthcare Center “Team Builders” will be hosting its 11th annual “ Safe Halloween” Trunk or Treat Halloween on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 31, from 5 to 6 p.m. or until all candy and treats have been given out. The event will take place on the north parking lot in front of the hospital.

They are promoting the “ Safe Halloween” again this year, and are asking for donations from the businesses and people in the community to help with the project.

This event is not possible without the donations from local businesses and people that care about the children and our community. It takes a great amount of candy and treats to be able to make this event successful. Donations of any kind will help the Team Builders. Keep in mind when you are considering your donation, that 350 to 400 children are expected to attend, as this event has grown over the years.

Last year, they gave candy and treats to more than 350 children.

For questions or concerns, call 806-385-6411, and speak to a Team Builder member: Amy Rojas or Elizabeth Vargas.

If anyone wishes to donate, call any of the above mentioned people, or drop off candy at the hospital in the pharmacy department.

A little back ground of the Team Builders and the event: A group of employees from Lamb Healthcare Center in Littlefield have generously taken time to help boost morale at their work place and also give back to the community as much as possible. They are called the “Team Builders”.

In October of 2012, the team started promoting a safe Halloween for the children in the community. Every year they have given treats to over 350 children. This event is always a fun and eventful activity for out little “ trick or treaters” as they enjoy going from trunk to trunk and getting to fill their bags with lots of treats. W invite our local businesses to set up in our parking lot to had out candy and treas and decorate their trunks or area if they wish.

If you would like to hand out candy, please notify Amy or Elizabeth so that they can reserve a spot for your business. They thank you in advance for helping keep our children safe this Halloween.
