Commissioners to meet Monday

A meeting of the Lamb County Commissioners’ Court will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, 2023, in the Lamb County Courthouse, where a 12—item agenda will be considered for appropriate action.

After the Call to order, the public may request to make a public comment on any of the agenda items. (3 minutes max) The items listed as “Consent Agenda Items” require no deliberation by the Court. Each Court member has the prerogative of removing an item from that agenda, so that it may be considered separately.

The six Consent Agenda items to be considered are: a) Consider and take appropriate action on minutes from previous meeting(s). b) Consider and take appropriate action on budget and salary amendments and/or line-item transfers; c) Consider and take appropriate action on bills presented by the County Auditor; d) Consider and take appropriate action on bills presented by the County Auditor; e) Consider and take appropriate action on departmental reports. f) Consider and take appropriate action on approving Treasurer’s Quarter Reports.

4. Consider and take appropriate action on out of state travel for Gloria Roble to go to DARE School; 5. Consider and take appropriate action to appoint Library Advisory Board Members; 6. Consider and take appropriate action to Accept a grant of property from Sudan Economic Development Corporation; 7. Consider and take appropriate action to advertise for sealed bids for the construction of a metal building of Office Space for JP4; 8. Consider and take appropriate action on County’s 2023-2024 Wellness Strategy/County Specific Incentive Presentation, by Stacey Bruington; 9. Consider and take appropriate action on Polling Places, Judge & Poll workers, Early Voting Ballot Board & Central counting station workers for TX Constitutional Amendments Election; 10. Discuss Lamb Healthcare Center Operations; 11. Future agenda items. 12. Adjournment.
