Three members of Lamb Healthcare Center Auxiliary traveled to San Marcos, Texas, for the 79th Annual Texas Association of Healthcare Volunteers 2022-2023.
It was held at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center, May 22nd -24th Starting Monday with registration, door prize accepted, silent auction items accepted, Vendor fair open, award entries accepted and Bingo Night.
Tuesday morning started with Bring your own Ideas, opening session, Lunch, Introduction of President, Sue Kaulfus of Seguin, Texas. There was also break out sessions on Counseling Persons with Parkinson’s Disease by Paul Osborne; John Henderson on TORCH (Texas Organization of Rural and Community Hospitals).
Dan Birbeck on “ Active Shooter Response”; John Ross on “What you should know Elder Law”; Karen Bilsing “Put the Heart Back in Your Volunteer Program.”
