The Littlefield Independent School District’s Board of Trustees met in regular session on Monday at noon in the Board Room of the Jerry Blakely Administration Building. The meeting was called to order by Board President Pat Demel and the Invocation was given by Lance Broadhurst.
There was no one present to speak during public forum.
The Board discussed the Legislation update; no action was necessary.
Item four on the agenda was trust property disposition.
A motion was made by Gary Birkelbach and seconded by Broadhurst to approve the trust properties as recommended by Superintendent Mike Read. The motion carried.
Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074, the Board went into Executive Session at 12:10 p.m. to discuss personnel. They reconvened into regular session at 1:05 p.m.
The motion was made by Hervey Valdez and seconded by Birkelbach to approve contracts for probationary certified staff members, Brooke Jones, Elizabeth Holman, Leslee Rogers, Lindsey Winters, Stacy Guy, Kaylee Edgemon, Mallie McGehee, Divad Mata, Jay Ragland, and Destiny Chavarria. The motion carried.
A resignation was presented on Kaylyn Green.
With there being no further business, Board President Pat Demel declared the meeting adjourned at 1:06 p.m.
