Coins For Kids Celebration for the Neuroblastoma Foundation was held at Littlefield Primary. This is something we have done for the past 10 years.
This organization helps families with children that have cancer. They help with, gas cards, motel rooms, food and also with research. We have buckets at school for the coins; bracelets to sell; and this year, we raffled off a goody basket.
There are so very many people and organizations that always help us: Prosperity Bank, Locos, Family Dollar, Farmers Lunchbox and Bakery, United Supermarket, Kelly from The Vine, Sharrise Johnson, The Dollar Tree, Taco Bell, and Ms. Robison’s 8th graders! We had donations from ALL these businesses and also Thank You to All the Staff and children at Primary for help and donations!
We raised $850.00 this year! Kindergarten took 1st place with: $265.00 First grade took 2nd place with: $256.00 Second grade took 3rd place with: $207.00 Pre K took 4th place with: $122.00 We had a Great time helping these children! United Supermarkets also donated popsicles for all of the children in our Primary building.
