Lonnie Neinast wins BBC, Ben Diaz takes second place

The wild 2023 Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament came to an end on Monday night, as the UConn Huskies defeated the San Diego State Aztecs, 76-58, to claim their fifth men’s basketball National Title. In the Final Four, fifth seeded San Diego State won a nail-biter over the nine seed Florida Atlantic, 72-71, to punch their ticket to the championship game. On the other side of the bracket, fourth seeded UConn handled fifth seeded Miami (FL.), 72-59, to fill the other half of the Championship game.

In our Big Bracket Challenge, a last second win for Lonnie Neinast pushed him into the lead, as he picked UConn to make it to the Championship game, giving him 76 points, which was good enough for first place. Diaz finished in second place with 65 points.

The rest of the individual results are as follows: Janet Conkin finished with 60 points, while Oscar Sanchez finished with 57 points and Martin Duran finished with 55 points.

Ed Dabrowski, Hannah Conkin and Robert Conkin are tied with 54 points, while Vincent Rosales has 51 points and Teresa Dabrowski has 48 points. Lauren Petty and Mary Fuentes are tied with 47 points, while Brett Neinast has 46 points, John Hernandez, Richard Carter and Tammy McDaniel are tied with 44 points and Brenden Carter and Brooke Boeckmed are tied with 43 points.

Brian Conkin, Larry Ashley and Michael McDaniel are tied with 40 points, while Zeb Petty has 39 points, Marisa Lopez has 38 points, Tara Lawson has 37 points and Alicia Ramon rounds out the field with 23 points.
