DISTRICT CHAMPIONS - The Sudan Golf teams competed at the District Golf Meet last week at Reese Golf Course in Lubbock with both the Girl’s and Boy’s teams placing first overall to claim the district titles. The girls were led by individual District runner-up Landree Gonzales, who shot a 93, and individual third-place finisher, Addisyn Harrell, who shot a 96. Humphreys, Smith and Braelyn Pointer each shot a 127. On the boy’s side, they were led by individual district champion Braxtyn Harrell, who shot an 87. Dayven Nash shot a 105, Kincaid Boehning shot a 108, Humphries shot a 114 and Caswell shot a 125. Also earning medals were Matthew Lopez, who shot a 129, Max Lopez, who shot a 140 and Larson, who shot a 134.
