The Lamb County Commissioners Court held a special meeting on Friday, Feb. 17th, at the Lamb County Courthouse in Littlefield.
The meeting was called to order by Lamb County Judge James DeLoach and there was nobody present for public comment.
The next item on the agenda was to consider and take appropriate action on Emergency purchase of a vehicle for the Sheriff’s Office due to lack of availability.
The motion was made by Commissioner Lee Logan and seconded by Commissioner Kent Lewis to approve the emergency purchase of a vehicle in Roswell, New Mexico for the Sheriff’s Office due to lack of availability. The motion carried unanimously.
Authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act and pursuant to Government Code 551 the Commissioners went into Executive Session at 2:06 p.m. and returned to open session at 3:30 p.m.
With their being no further business to come before the Commissioners Court the motion was made by Commissioner Logan and seconded by Commissioner Lewis to adjourn. The motion carried unanimously and the meeting was adjourned.
