The Lamb County Junior Livestock Show concluded on Saturday where there were 163 animals were shown on Saturday, Jan. 7th, by exhibitors from 4-H and FFA Clubs from Amherst, Littlefield, Springlake- Earth, Sudan and Olton.
Judging began around 8 a.m. with Judge Cameron Knight beginning with the 27 goats, continuing with the 33 lambs and 76 swine. Steers and Beef Heifer Judge Zach Wagner followed with the judging of the 18 beef heifers and nine steers.
CHAMPIONANIMALS
The Grand Champion Goat was shown by Claire Senter of Olton, while the Reserve Grand Champion Goat was shown by Reiner Goe of Sudan.
Winning the Goat Showmanship Award Buckle was Scout Smith of Sudan.
