County officials were sworn into office on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023
On Sunday, January 1, 2023, elected County Officials were sworn into office in the District Courtroom of the Lamb County Courthouse.
County Judge Mike DeLoach swore in new District Judge, Scott Say, and then Judge Say swore in Judge DeLoach as the County Judge.
Judge DeLoach then swore in Commissioner Kent Lewis, who is Commissioner of Precinct 2. He also swore in Commissioner Lee Logan, who is Commissioner of Precinct 4.
Next, Judge DeLoach swore in Justice of the Peace Precinct 1, Becky DeBerry, followed by Justice of the Peace Precinct 3, Tim Walker, and then Justice of the Peace Precinct 4, Matt Hanna.
Jerry Yarbrough was sworn in as the County Treasurer, Debbie Long was sworn in as District Clark and Tammy Kirkland was sworn in as the Tax Assessor – Collector and Voter Registrar.
Lastly, Rickie Redman was sworn in by Judge DeLoach as the new District Attorney.
