Alissa Montes of Sudan chosen as winner of the Lamb County Leaf Drug Free drawing contest

Lamb County Leaf Drug Free Coalition holds a yearly contest on “What Does It Mean to be Drug Free?” and the winner gets their drawing on a billboard in Littlefield!

We asked this question to the Sudan ISD fifth, sixth and seventh graders and they were then asked to draw out what it meant to them. The drawings were then sealed and taken to County Judge, Mike DeLoach where he then decided the order of our top ten based on his judging criteria.

After getting the envelope back, the winner that was chosen was Alissa Montes, a sev-enth grade Student at Sudan!

Thank you to everyone who participated and Congratulations to our winner!
