Christmas wishes...

Lfd. Primary Family Christmas Night

We asked people what their Christmas wishes were this year and these are their responses: “Having served as a prosecutor for Lamb County for 26 years, I wish that people would instill Godly values in their children and break generational curses,” Scott Say said. “It breaks my heart that I have had to deal with multiple generations in some families in criminal court.”

He added, “My wish is that people didn’t have to learn the hard way that following the law and not continuing traditions of criminal activity is actually possible. I wish people would make better choices and love their neighbors as themselves.”

Lamb County Judge Mike DeLoach stated, “I would hope that during this time of year we would all hug our families a little closer. With all the tragedy we have had in our county and in our area in the past several months we should all hold the people in our lives a little closer.”

He added, “We never know what tomorrow will bring. As family’s gather over this weekend, always remember how special these times are. Also, remember those less fortunate than we are. I would hope we would all help someone else create memories of Christmas and the reason we celebrate this time of year.”

Assistant County and District Attorney, Rickie Redman said, “My wishes this year are that we would all appreciate the real reason we celebrate Christmas, and that we would all work harder to love each other the way God loves us.”

Marisa Lopez stated that her wish for Christmas is that she wants her family and friends to stay happy and healthy.

Melinda Galan, said, “My Christmas wish is for the lost to find Our Lord and Savior.”

Johnny Rosemond said that his Christmas wishes are, “For some way, single parents, could come together for their children. Show respect for one another, as well as be responsible. The children or child didn’t have nothing to do with their decision. This Christmas show some Christ like in your heart, you know He is the Reason for the Season. Mom, Dad, stepmom, and stepdad, it’s about Christ and the children, your children.

God bless and Merry Christmas” Carolina said that her Christmas wishes include, A Nintendo Switch and a Million dollars she joked.

Reynalda Silvas said that she wishes for a new Computer this Christmas.

Daphne said that her Christmas wishes are, “For My high XCEL light bill to be paid in full and possibly a credit for next month.

Pandy stated that for Christmas she wishes for, “ A new Hip, Glasses, Teeth and for herself and her children to be financially secure in these difficult times.

Sarah said that she wants to take a trip to visit her mom and also get a new cell phone.

Kayla Pickard stated, “ My Christmas wish is for people that have lost someone this year; may they find peace, comfort and joy and trust in the Lord during this season.” Tonya Ritchie said her wish for Christmas is, “Love in our Hearts and Hope for the Future. A little more SPARKLE and a little less STRESS.”

Brad Heffington stated, “I am wishing for God to bless our families and our community and for people to realize relationships are our most precious gifts we can have and to cherish those while we can.”

Alizeya Martinez explained, “What I’m wishing for Christmas this year is the homeless man I gave my sandwich to at a red light the other day to be warm and fed. I’m wishing for peace around the world. I’m tired of seeing people on the news loosing their lives over a stupid acts of violence. I want families together this Christmas.”

Missy Shultz stated, “What I’m wishing for Christmas 2022 is that my family and friends stay safe and healthy this holiday season, and that during our celebrations, we will be present in the moment, and cherish each second!!”

She added, “I pray that we will all be reminded that Jesus came to earth for us, and there’s no present that will outdo the Gift of our savior! Merry Christmas.”

Morris Randle Sr. said, “I wish that the lost would come to know the Lord & get saved.”

Gabe Toscano said, “My wish is that I hope that all families around the world will have a Merry Christmas!! In that, I hope they get to spend it with their loved ones or have some way of communicating to show their love for one another!! I also want to wish all my family and friends that I will not get to see a very Merry Christmas.”
