Richard Orozco, Mark Grace lead through first update in Bowl Pick-Em Challenge
The Lamb County Leader-News Bowl Pick-Em Challenge kick-off Friday, Dec. 15th at 11:30 a.m. with Miami (OH) and UAB squaring off in the Bahamas Bowl. UAB emerged victorious, 24-20.
Also on Friday, Troy defeated UTSA in the Duluth Trading Cure Bowl, 18-12.
On Saturday, Louisville blasted Cincinnati, 24- 7, to take the Fenway Bowl, while Oregon State dismantled Florida, 30-3, to take the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl. Fresno State thumped Washington State, 29-6, in the Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl Presented by Stifel, while Southern Miss outlasted Rice, 38-24, in the Lending Tree Bowl.
BYU edged out SMU in the New Mexico Bowl, while Boise State survived North Texas, 35-32, in the Frisco Bowl Presented by SERVPRO. Jackson State fell in overtime to North Carolina Central, 41-34, in the Cricket Celebration Bowl.
The Following individual results are as follows: Richard Orozco and Mark Grace leads our 11 contestants with seven points each, while John Hernandez, Teresa Dabrowski, Tommy Cloninger, Martin Duran and Johnny Rosemond each have six points.
JC Orozco, Lonnie Neinast and Ben Eastepp each have five points, while Ed Dabrowski tallied four points.
