Library Gingerbread House Winners

The Lamb County Library held an Open House Tuesday, Dec. 6th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The open house showcased different programs the library held. They offered hot chocolate, cookies and other goodies. There was a photo op with Santa, door prizes, and a gingerbread house con- test.

There were four categories for the gingerbread house competition. The first category was five to eight-year-old’s. The first place winner was Stetson Turney and the second place winner was Morgan Shea. The second category was ages nine to 12. The first place winner was Arian MacDonald and second place went to Riley Patterson.

The third category was ages 13 to 17. The first place winner was Joshua Shea and the second place winner was Sara Shea. The fourth, and final, category was for ages 18 years and up. The first place winner was Alyssa Scaff and the second place winner was Sam Tucheck.

The Library would like to thank and acknowledge United, Wright’s Collision Center, The Farmers Lunchbox & Bakery, Hillcrest Funeral Home, Joy Patterson, The Gingerbread House, Jackie Smith, Grace Shea and Family, Lori Zinn, Sharrise Cowen Johnson, Alfredo and Hector Rosa, Mark Hollis, and all of the dedicated patrons who brought cookies for helping bring the open house together.
