The Lamb County Sheriff’s Office Annual Christmas for Kids toy drive applications are now ready to be picked up.
Applications for the Christmas for Kids toy drive can be picked up at the Lamb County Sheriff ’s Office or any local bank in the cities of Amherst, Sudan, Olton, Littlefield and Earth. The applications will be returned to the Lamb County Sheriff’s Office, located at 120 E. Waylon Jennings Blvd. in Littlefield.
The deadline for applications is Friday, Dec. 16, 2022. Distributions for the toys will be held at the Lamb County Sheriff’s Office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022.
The toy drive is for children ages 0-10 years of age. Applicants must be able to provide ID and proof of Lamb County residency. For questions or if any businesses would like to participate by hosting a donation box, place contact the Lamb County Sheriff’s Office at 806-385-7900.
Donation boxes have been places at the following locations:
Littlefield: McDonald’s, First United Bank, Ace Hardware, First Bank and Trust, Wellington State Bank, Gebo’s, Courthouse lobby, Lowe’s, United Supermarket, Prosperity Bank, Dollar General, First Federal Bank, Littlefield Chevrolet/Buick/GMC and Family Dollar.
Olton: Happy State Bank, Wellington State Bank and Dollar General.
Sudan: First United Bank and Family Dollar.
Earth: First United Bank and Dollar General.
Amherst: First State Bank. The Annual Christmas for Kids/Littlefield McDonald’s annual pie fundraiser has tentatively been scheduled for Monday, Dec. 12th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. All proceeds from pie sales will go toward the toy drive.
