Lfd. Planning and Zoning comission holds special meeting

The Littlefield Planning and Zoning Commission held a special meeting Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. at the Littlefield City Council Chambers.

Members present were Vice President Lance Broadhurst, Johnny Rosemond and Shawn Pickrell.

Members absent were President Ray Vargas and Lori Zinn.

Others present were City Manager Mitch Grant, City Secretary Janine Butler, Samantha Pontius with the Lamb County Leader News and two audience members. Vice President Lance Broadhurst called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

Johnny Rosemond led the invocation and Shawn Pickrell led the Pledge of Allegiance.

No one spoke for public comment.

The next item on the agenda was to consider and approve the minutes from the previous meeting, which took place Monday, July 18, 2022.

Shawn Pickrell made a motion to approve the minutes, which was seconded by Johnny Rosemond. The motion carried.

Item number six on the agenda was to hold a Public Hearing: Regarding Request for Special Use-Allowing Greenhouse in SF2Single-Family Residential District 2.

Lance Broadhurst closed the regular session and opened the public hearing at 5:32 p.m. Lance Broadhurst closed the public hearing and reopened the regular session at 5:33 p.m.

The next item on the agenda was to consider and take appropriate action for the Recommendation to City Council for Special Use-Allowing Greenhouse in SF2Single-Family Residential District 2.

Shawn Pickrell made the motion to approve the recommendation to the City Council. The motion was seconded by Johnny Rosemond. The motion carried.

Vice President Lance Broadhurst adjourned the meeting at 5:34 p.m.
