The First United Bank Littlefield Branch and First United Bank Lamesa Branch held a friendly spirit rivalry on Friday, Sept. 16, 2022 in preparation for the homecoming game.
Each branch was encouraged to show as much spirit as possible to see who could out-do the other in this friendly competition. The Littlefield Branch had the Littlefield Booster Club bring the Booster Trailer down to the Bank parking lot. The Boosters set up the Wildcat Tunnel and also sold Wildcat gear from the trailer. The Booster Club also loaned the Wildcat Spirit Bell to the Bank for the competition.
At lunch, the Littlefield High School Cheerleaders and the Wildcat Mascot came to the bank and did a cheer with the branch employees and then posed for some pictures. Pictures and videos were taken and sent to the Marketing Department of First United Bank, who then sent them out to all First United Bank branches to vote for who they thought showed the most spirit.
After voting was tabulated, the Littlefield Branch came out victorious.
