Commissioners reject all bids for Ag Barn renovations

The County Commissioners Court held a special meeting on Monday, Sept. 19, 2022 at 9 a.m. at the county courthouse.

Judge James DeLoach called the meeting to order.

No one spoke for public comment.

Item number two on the agenda was to consider and take appropriate action to consider Sealed Bids for the renovation of the Lamb County Ag Barn.

After some discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Lee Logan to reject all sealed bids for the renovation of the Lamb County Ag Barn. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Cory DeBerry. The final vote was four voting to reject the bids and one against. The motion carried.

The next item on the agenda was to consider and take appropriate action on a Request to bury a gas line in the middle of the road on CR 64. A motion was made by Commissioner Kent Lewis to approve the request. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Danny Short. The motion carried unanimously.

Item number four on the agenda was to consider and take appropriate action on Statewide Automated Victim Notification System (SAVNS) Grant. A motion was made by Commissioner Danny Short and was seconded by Commissioner Lee Logan to approve the SAVNS Grant. The motion carried.

With there being no further business to bring to this court, Commissioner Lee Logan made a motion to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Danny Short. The motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:49 a.m.
