The Llano Estacado Emmaus Community is hosting a three-day women’s retreat starting Thursday, Aug. 4 through Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022.
The Walk to Emmaus Retreat is a spiritual retreat for women at the Mercy Retreat Center, located at 605 S 19 th Street, Slaton. There is a guest goal of 36 women.
There is an opportunity to sponsor a pilgrim on the retreat. Sponsors will send Agape letters to the pilgrim being sponsored, help pack the pilgrim for the retreat, attend the closing of the retreat along with providing for the pilgrims family while they are on the retreat and more.
