The 2022 Annual Juneteenth Celebration will take place on Saturday, June 18 th , at Dunbar Park.
This year’s activities consist of a Pound cake cook-off (please RSVP to register your cake) and free hamburgers to the public.
Set for the event will begin at 8 a.m. followed by the Pound cake drop off, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
The Judging of the Pound Cakes will take place at 10 a.m.
At 11 a.m., hamburger trays will be delivered to shut-ins, then at 12 noon, the trays will begin being served to those who drive by and line up on the East side of the Park.
