The public is invited to attend the 32nd Annual Sudan Memorial Service Program that is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2022, at the Sudan Cemetery.
If bad weather appears that day, the event will be held in the Sudan High School Auditorium.
Sam Miller will welcome the guests to the event, and Terry Wilson will give the invocation.
Members of VFW Post 2466 will present the colors, as Sam Merryman leads the “Pledge of Allegiance”, followed by the National Anthem, sung by Kenneth Richards, accompanied by the Sudan High School Band.
The program’s message will be presented by Mike Woods.
Rev. Cam Gaven, Sudan First Methodist Church’s pastor, will offer the benediction, which will be followed by TAPS, played by the Sudan High School Band’s Trumpet Section.
To end the program, the VFW Post 2466 will retire the colors.
