The Lamb County Grand Jury met for the January Term A.D. 2022 of the Lamb County 154th Judicial District Court on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, when they indicted a total of 28 defendants.
A total of 11 of them have been arrested and jailed on their offense violations, while 17 of them have not been arrested.
Mai Youa Vang, 37, (of unknown address) was indicted on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, namely meth amphetamine, in an amount of four grams or more, but less than 200 grams, that occurred on March 4, 2022.
Her bond was set at $7,500. Simon Mireles, Jr., 42, of Littlefield, was indicted on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, namely methamphet-mine, in an amount of less than one gram, that occurred on Feb. 13, 2022.
Bond is set at $3,500.
Joseph Arredondo, 38, of Troy, Texas, was indicted on a charge of Evading Arrest and Detention, that occurred on Jan. 4, 2022, with previous convictions.
A Judisdictional Enhancement was included with the indictment, since prior to the commission of the charged offense, on March 4, 2019, the defendant was convicted in the 440th District Court of Coryell County, Texas, of the offense of Evading Arrest and Detention with a prior conviction.
Other State Jail Punishment Enhancements for convictions in Lamb County, included: Dec. 9, 2002, two convictions in 154th District Court of Lamb County for the Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle; and on Oct. 14, 2004 in 154th Lamb County District Court for a conviction of Evading Arrest and Detention with a Vehicle, and for the Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.
He also has convictions in 137th District Court of Lubbock County; and 79th District Court of Jim Wells County, Texas.
His bond is set at $7,000.
Michael Ray Wood, 27, of Littlefield, was indicted on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, namely methamphet-amine, Violation of Health and Safety Code, in an amount of four grams or more, but less than 200 grams. The offense occurred on Jan. 21, 2022.
He had a prior conviction in 154th District Court of Lamb County, for the felony offense of Evading Arrest and Detention with a Motor Vehicle, that occurred Dec. 12, 2019.
His bond is set at $10,000.
Brady Lee Pratt, 40, of Littlefield, was indicted on a charge of Assault on Family House Member, impeding breath and circulation, that occurred Feb. 15, 2022. He has previous convictions in Lamb County’s 154th District Court of felony offenses.
He is ordered to have no contact with the victim.
Bond is set at $5,500
Julian Rangel Esquibel, 39, of Littlefield, was indicted on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, namely Methamphet-amine, in an amount of less than one gram, in violation of the Health and Safety Code, that occurred March 8, 2022.
Bond has been set at $3,500.
Juanita Elizabeth Johnson, 52, of Littlefield, was indicted on a chage of Burglary of a Habitation, without the consent of the owner, and an attempt to commit or committed an assault against the owner, that occurred Jan. 28, 2022.
She was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
Her bond is set at $10,000.
Jose Pacheco-Rivera, 34, of Olton, was indicted on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated, third or more time, in a motor vehicle in a public place while she was intoxicated, that occurred on Dec. 22, 2021. She has two previous DWI convictions: one in Lamb County and one in Hale County.
Her bond is set at $7,500.
Diego Perez-Hernandez, 18, of Springlake, was indicted on a charge of Taking Certain Wildlife Resources, without the Consent from the landowner, or without consent of an agent of the landowner, that occurred Feb. 17, 2022. His bond is set at $10,000.
Randy Dale Estes, 53, of Clovis, N.M., was indicted on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, namely Methamphetamine, in an amount of less than one gram, that occurred on Dec. 23, 2021. His bond is set at $3,500.
Sonia Garcia, 32 of Littlefield, was indicted on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, namely Methamphet-amine, in an amount of less than one gram, that occurred Dec. 31, 2021.Her bond is set for $3,500.
