SAIGE BEERWINKLE, fourth-grade student at Springlake-Earth ISD, exhibited the Champion Hereford steer at the 2022 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Before winning the championship, the steer placed first in the middle weight class, that was judged by Jirl Buck of Madill, Okla. This was Saige’s second year to exhibit at the Houston Show.
