In Loving Memory Of Lonnie Campbell

Lonnie Campbell Sr., 72, of Littlefield went to be with his Lord Tuesday, January 18, 2022 in Littlefield. He was born on December 15, 1949 in Bismarck, Missouri to Russell Campbell and Rebecca Patterson Campbell.

Lonnie moved to Littlefield from Stockton, California due to his health. He met his wife, Margie Buren Campbell, when he was 12 years old, and the couple of 53 years, opened a thrift store in Littlefield. Lonnie enjoyed playing poker and bingo and loved visiting with customers and friends who came into the store. Lonnie was a very giving and selfless person who was always willing to give those in need a fair deal, even as far as donating to those who had extreme need. Lonnie loved going to auctions and finding treasures to add to his shop. He was a Seattle Seahawks and Mariners fan.

Lonnie is survived by his wife, Margie Campbell of Littlefield; three children, Corinna Kirk and husband, Tommy of Harstene Island, Washington, Connie Campbell and significant other, Michael Lyon of Myrtle Point, Oregon and Lonnie Campbell, Jr. and wife, Monique Valadez of Sacramento, California; eight grandchildren, Keri Curette Purvis and husband, Kenny of Ft. Benning, Georgia, Miranda Kirk of Chicago, Illinois, Kevin Curette of Myrtle Point, Oregon, Maureen Kirk Brown and husband, Jesse of Los Angeles, California, Robert West and wife, Molly Boot of Oregon, Emmali West and husband, Manny LeVell of Washington, Trinity Kirk of Denver, CO; three great grandchildren, Jane Curette, Isla Kirk-Eveland, Simon Levell; siblings, Bonnie Campbell Baynes of Antioch, California, Vernon, Dennis, and Joe Campbell all of Stockton, California, John Campbell of Elk Grove, California and Linda Campbell and Juanita Campbell of Stockton, California; special friend, Celia Garza of Sudan; and numerous friends and extended family members.

Celebration of life services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, January 24, 2022 in Grace Chapel in Littlefield. Interment will follow in Littlefield Memorial Park with Brent Riley, Jake Riley, Danny Gomez, David Perez and Isaac DeLaFuente serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m., Sunday afternoon at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
