A meeting of the Lamb County Commissioners’ Court will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 2021, in the Lamb County Courthouse, where a 10—item agenda will be considered for appropriate action.
After the Call to order, the public may request to make a public comment on any of the agenda items. (3 minutes max)
The items listed as “Consent Agenda Items” require no deliberation by the Court. Each Court member has the prerogative of removing an item from that agenda, so that it may be considered separately.
The six Consent Agenda items to be considered are:
a) Consider and take appropriate action on minutes from previous meeting(s).
b) Consider and take appropriate action on budget and salary amendments and/or line-item transfers;
c) Consider and take appropriate action on bills presented by the County Auditor;
d) Consider and take appropriate action on payroll;
e) Consider and take appropriate action on departmental reports.
4. Discuss Lamb Healthcare Center operations;
5. Consider and take appropriate action on Appointment / Re appointment of LHC Board Members;
6. Consider and take appropriate action on an Interlocal agreement with Potter County for Court Ordered Mental Health Services;
7. Consider and take appropriate action to accept surplus road material from TxDot;
8. Pursuant to Chapter 552 of the Texas Government Code, the public of is hereby given notice that the Commissioners Court of Lamb County, Texas will convene in special session on the 8 th day of November 2021, at 10 a.m. to receive public comment of redistricting of county election justice of the peace and commissioners court precincts. After the public hearing, the Commissioners Court will take up for consideration and to take possible action regarding one or more alternative plans for the redistricting of County Commissioners Court precincts. The Court reserves the right to take any and all appropriate actions regarding the redistricting of Lamb County political boundaries, including the acceptance of new boundaries for the Commissioners Court precincts, modification of any boundaries, and/or tabling the pending proposals for later consideration and /or action.
