Candal Lori Obenhaus-Long, 46, of Lubbock, passed away Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021 in Lubbock. She was born March 20, 1975 in Littlefield, to Terry Obenhaus and Betty (Baker) Poynor-Meador.
Candal graduated from Muleshoe High School and then attended Clovis Community College and majored in Nursing. She earned her RN degree with four children at home, all under the age of eight. Candal also liked getting together with family and enjoyed playing games and making others laugh.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021 at 16 th and D Church of Christ Church in Muleshoe with Jack Stone officiating. Interment followed in Sudan Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Aaron Pope, Nicholas Long, Logan Long, Kevin Pope, Jacob Obenhaus, Weston Obenhaus, and Levi Obenhaus and Jason Obenhaus serving as honorary pallbearers. Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
