The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity cross country team finished 4 th at the District 3-3A Meet at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock on Tuesday with 126 points.
Senior, Brianna Acevedo, led the team, placing eighth overall to advance to Regionals, clocking a time of 14:35.72.
Sophomore, Lauren Turpen, finished 24 th with a time of 15:54.03, while sophomore, Kamryn Meiwes, finished 30 th with a time of 16:22.89, and freshman, Brinley Acevedo, finished 31 st with a time of 16:24.11.
Senior, Leilani Solis, finished 33 rd with a time of 16:42.26, while junior, Rosa Chairez, finished 40 th with a time of 17:59.04, and junior, Lilliana Loredo, finished 43 rd with a time of 18:30.42.
Brianna Acevedo, will be running at Regionals on Oct. 25 th at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock.
