KARLA ARRIOLA AND JHANET VALENCIA served Bacon and Sausage for the Lions Club’s breakfast Saturday morning at the Olton Vol. Ambulance Asociation’s Station.
MATTIE HODGES walked away with three of the awards given Saturday afternoon. She first received the “Sandhills Queen” award plaque, then a little later, was chosen to receive the “Oldest Woman Present” Award at the age of 86 years. Then the last award was for “Having Lived at Olton the longest” those 86 years.
“TRAVELED FARTHEST” TO CELEBRATION—Garry and Donna Francis of Fredricksburg received the award plaque for coming the longest distance to attend the 41st Annual Olton Sandhills Celebration.
