Hospital Auxiliary elects its officers; presents awards

    Lamb Healthcare Center’s Auxiliary met Thursday, May 13, 2021 for the installation of newlyelected officers and presenting the Bar Hour Awards for the 2020 Award Year.

    The meeting began with a barbecue brisket meal with all the trimmings, catered by Stella Martinez at the home of Janice Sokora.

    The business meeting was called to order by President Lori Durham, with 11 members, and the past president, Marcy Demel, and one new member, Linda Lucas, attending.

    Auxiliary members receiving their 100-hour bars, were Kay Cloninger, Janet Conkin, Janice Sokora, Edie Pene, and Harry Heckard.

    The 200-hour bars were awarded to Lori Durham, and Gayle Heckard.

    The COVID-19 pandemic caused a decrease in hours worked at the hospital.

    Newly-elected as officers were Lori Durham, president; Edie Pene, vice president; Kay Cloninger, Recording Secretary; Janice Sokora, treasurer; and Janet Conkin secretary.
