DEDICATION MARKER To Springlake Veterans’ Memorial
EARTH’S MEMORIAL DAY FLAG – The U.S. and Air Force flags were presented Monday morning by the Honor Guard of the Cannon Air Force Base of Clovis, N.M. As they posted the U.S. flag, Daniel Barber blew TAPS. At the flag pole were Roland Betts and Brent Been, who raised the U.S. flag. The large crowd heard a message from Earth’s United Methodist Church pastor, Eliezer Garrido, who reminded that freedom is not free. There have been many sacrifices made for our country, through the years. (Staff Photo by Joella Lovvorn)
