MEMORIAL SERVICE CROWD at the Sudan Cemetery Monday morning, 2021, for the community’s 31 st Annual program in honor of the 252 veterans, which includes 3 women, from several wars who are buried in the Sudan Cemetery. The VFW Post 2466 of Lubbock called a roll of many veterans, who were present for the ceremony, and name tags of those who couldn’t respond were hung on the memorial display in front of the speaker’s stand.
