Hospital Managers set joint and regular meetings Tuesday

A notice of a Special Joint Meeting of the Board of Managers of the Lamb County Hospital (Lamb Healthcare Center), and the Lamb County Commissioners Court, will be conducted at 12 noon, Tuesday, May 18, in the Lamb Healthcare Center Atrium.

They will also meet in a regular business meeting after the Joint meeting.

The Agenda for the special joint meeting:

1. Call to Order

2. Discuss operations of Lamb Healthcare Center (LHC) and LHC Board of Managers’ plan to use remainder of Care Act Funding.

3. Future agenda Items; and

4. Adjournment.

The Board of Managers of the Lamb County Hospital, also known as the Lamb Healthcare Center, may vote and/or act upon each of the items listed on the above Agenda.

The Board of Managers of the Lamb County Hospital, (LHC) may meet in Executive Session on any of the above items as suthorized by the Texzas Open Meetings act, and pursuant to Governmetn Code 551, Sub-Chapter D.

The Board of Managers of the Lamb County Hospital, (LHC), also reserves the right to reconvene in a Regular Session and consider action, if any, on the items discussed in executive session.

The Board of Hospital Managers will then meet in a regular business meeting, after the joint meeting.

III. Approval of Minutes from previous meetings:

1) April 20, 2021.

3) May 10, 2021.

IV. Consider and take appropriate action on rescinding motion to give the Sheriff’s Department up to $25,000 for COVID renovations.

V. Consider and take appropriate action on Springlake Building to do COVID testing and vaccines.

VI. Consider and take appropriate acion on accepting sealed bids/bids/exemptions for Springlake building.

VII. Consider and take appropriate action on LHC Family Medicine renovation.

VIII. Consider and take appropriate action on Lab and Medical Records renovaation.

IX. Consider and take appropriate action on Isolation Wing renovation.

X. Consider and take appropriate action on Surgery Flooring replaceent.

XI. Consider and take appropriate action on execusing absent board members.

XIII. Letter from James M. DeLoach, Lamb County Judge, to the Lamb Healthcare Center Board of Managers, dated May 4, 2021, to discuss and consider appropriate action on the items set forth in such letter.
